Our farms are situated in the North West and Eastern Cape and span in excess of 4000 hectares with specific emphasis on intensive irrigation farming.

We produce animal feed, hemp for paper mills, hemp oil extraction and we are hemp seed producers.

With our cattle farm and hemp animal feed, our goal is to bring an organic, hemp-fed feed, our goal is to bring it organic, hemp-fed beef product to the market that is free from growth enhancements and chemicals. Years of hard work and dedication has been invested in this to prove that hemp-fed cattle are healthier, produce better quality meat and milk, and can fight off diseases easily.

HEMP ANIMAL FEED:

We farm 4000 hectares, have 400 cattle and are self-sustainable. We have done numerous animal feed trials to see and understand the impact of hemp feed on the animals wellness. We have given hemp husk cakes to horse and chicken farmers as well as changed our beef to being organic, hemp-fed, just like it was thousands of years ago. The results we found where astounding.

By changing to hemp feed we’ve reduced the amount of chemicals that we’re putting into the cattle. We don’t use steroids, and as a result the calves are born healthier, their milk is better, everything about the animal is 100% better. One of our bulls had an abscess, we upped he’s hemp and CBD intake and within two days the abscess was gone, avoiding antibiotics all together.

We want to show that be feeding this hemp to the cattle, there are benefits, such as less negative impacts with consumption i.e steroids and antibiotics, better marbling of the meat, higher quality milk, that the livestock start to get healthier.

PLANTING METHOD:

Cherry bubblegum is the ideal high-CBD strain for first time or novice hemp farmers. This Cultivar tends to grow thick and heavy, is resilient to stress and its production out for THC content is compliant with regulators. This cultivar is an excellent choice for high biomass production to smokeable CBD flower. These plants develop in a Christmas tree-like shape and require adequate spacing between plants. Yield – growers can expect to yield up to 1800kg of 10-14% CBD flower per acre (dependent on planting time, plant spacing, farmer experience and nutrient regimen).
